This is an antique coffee grinder, an Arcade Imperial No. 707, patented in 1888 and 1889.
It features a cast iron top with a pivoting hopper door and a wooden base with a drawer to catch the ground coffee. The fineness of the grind can be adjusted by twisting a dial behind the grinder housing. The grinder was manufactured by the Arcade Manufacturing Company of Freeport, Illinois, which made coffee grinders until the 1930s. It is part of my husbands collection of coffee grinders and is missing the handle unfortunately. It makes a great decorative item and is an antique.

I love to sell bundles and love to make deals. I have jewelry primitive items artwork art books models tin signs plushies and lots of other stuff. Check out my listings and pick out your favorites
